We got a bunch of snow on Saturday and into Sunday. CC was cancelled for Monday, so we worked on math (which we missed on Friday.) Abby flew right though her lesson. I had her counting mixed coins on some flashcards Sunday night and she nailed them! Sunday night Monday morning She was done with math by the time Audrey woke up, lol. While Audrey worked, Abby & Annie went outside and enjoyed the snow. "Can I do homeschool work, too?"  Snow + coughs= no school all week! By the time Thursday rolled around, I had a pretty terrible cold and it took all my energy just to EXIST. We enjoyed a relaxing few days off :)

We had a wonderful break, and this was our first full week back in our routine! Annie went back to school last Thursday, so I took advantage and had the girls work on Time 4 Learning activities. I had them do math on Thursday and Friday since there were just a few lessons left before they both started a new unit. On Monday we went back to CC! The girls were beyond excited! It was so nice to see everyone. I didn't get a chance to take pictures, but we did some cool stuff! For Art the kids made paint with egg yolk and colored powder (we are DEFINITELY doing this at home!) Our 2 Science experiments were awesome! We did a sink/float activity with soil and paper clips; then we observed the tilt of the Earth using clay and a flashlight. Abby started to feel drained at lunch. Annie was clingy and didn't want me to leave for Essentials. Audrey started feeling bad halfway through Essentials. It was definitely an adjustment to be back, LOL! I had every intention of going to...
